City Manager and Engineer
The City of Ironwood operates under a City Commission-Manager form of government. The City Manager serves at the discretion of the City Commission. Under this structure the Mayor and City Commission are responsible for all policy decisions affecting the City. The City Manager provides professional leadership and direction in the implementation of the policies and objectives established by the City Commission.
The City Manager directs and supervises the administration of all departments, offices and agencies of the City on a day to day basis. The City Manager, along with the management team keep the City Commission informed of the activities of all departments and makes recommendations to the City Commission on all issues of concern to the City.
