Dear Ironwood Business Owners,

As mentioned in the previous email, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) will be releasing a new grant cycle for small businesses as part of the Small Business Relief Program (CARES Act Funding). The Application period will open up on December 15th at 8am Central Time and is on a first come first serve basis. There is $500,000 allocated for the Upper Peninsula, so this will likely be a highly competitive grant. It will be important to get your application in ASAP.

Please click this link (Small business Relief Grant Application) for more information.

Here is a link (application questions and instructions) to the questions that will be on the application. Since the grant is first come first serve, it will be good to have everything prepared ahead of time.

Here is a link to set up your login for the application ahead of time. The more you can do in advance the more likely you are to receive the grant.

As always, if you have any questions you are welcome to contact me by email or phone at bergmant@cityofironwood.org or at 906-932-5050 ext 126.

Take care everyone,

Thomas Bergman
